My husband and I purchased a home with Michele as our agent, in 2019. I did not write this review earlier as we were working with a real estate attorney to determine what our legal options were.Michele represented us in purchasing a home in Portland which, it turns out was severely misrepresented. As a seasoned real estate agent, I would have expected Michele to point out the potential issues in our house and advise us to follow up with PPB to ensure that the house was properly permitted. However, looking back, there were many red flags in the real estate transaction that we should have paid attention to. When I did go to PPB and mentioned the planning issues initially to Michele, she did nothing to help remedy the situation. She contacted the previous homeowners and went by their word that the house was properly permitted, despite me providing proof that it was not and did nothing more. I felt that, once her commission was paid, she no longer had a duty to help. For context, the cost to make our home legal will be in the ballpark of $400k and we may need to tear down part of the illegal addition. Michele led us to make a financial decision that will have a very significant impact on our financial future. I would not recommend her.
From start to finish, Michele was a professional in helping me to sell my home quickly.
